Baptist Campus Ministries - Worship, Service, Community!

What is the BCM?

The BCM is a Christian college ministry open to all UNA students. It is supported by the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions and the Colbert-Lauderdale Baptist Association. We exist to connect college students to Christ and each other. We provide opportunities to strengthen relationships through our activities, Bible studies and missions.

What do you do?

Aftermath: Student-led worship service. Mondays at 7 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters.

Noonday: Lunches provided each Wednesday from11 am until 1pm during the fall and spring semesters. Your first visit is free; after that, it only costs $2 each week.

SPOTS: Special Projects Other Than Summer. SPOTS are short-term mission trips scheduled during semester breaks. In the past, we have gone to New Orleans, Myrtle Beach and Texas.

Intramural Sports: The BCM usually has teams for most intramural sports.

How do I join the BCM?

Joining the BCM is free of paperwork and money! If you’re interested in becoming a part of the BCM family, simply come to some of our activities and get involved.

What if I'm not Baptist?

You don’t have to be Baptist to come to the BCM. All students and denominations are welcome.

Is the BCM a church?

No. BCM activities do not replace active involvement in a local church. Many area churches support our ministry, and we support theirs. We’ll be happy to help you find a church home in the area.
